  1. CHAD - Passport and visa required.  Transit visa valid for up to 1 week,
  2. requires onward ticket.   Single-entry visa valid 2 months for
  3. tourist/business stay up to 30 days (extendable), requires $25 fee (no
  4. personal checks), yellow fever and cholera vaccinations, 3 application
  5. forms and 3 photos.  For business visa need company letter stating purpose
  6. of trip.  Send prepaid envelope for registered/certified return of
  7. passport.  Apply Embassy of the Republic of Chad, 2002 R St., N.W.,
  8. Washington, D.C. 20009 (202/462-4009), and check specific requirements.
